I agree. I had some lessons on the sword before the Null came, but experience was my best teacher.

Quite effective.
Swords can pierce through plate armor, that's made of metal too.
Finding the CPU was a challenge, but not an insurmountable one.

I interacted with it all of once, when it killed me.
I turned down an opportunity to go looking for Door fragments because it would have meant a month or better in its presence.
And I don't trust it any further than I can throw an ox.
