Fighting things that could probably murder me seems to be a new stupid thing I've adopted.
actually that was a lot of the stupid things i did back home too.
I also did the cinnamon challenge once, never again.

But yeah, I'll fight stuff. Like when new arrivals come in, i'll go try to help them out at the colosseum. didn't have monsters back home, but i got into a couple fights i guess.

cinnamon challenge is where you try to eat a spoon full of cinnamon. Don't do it, it sucks

The storm really made it tough this month, and the monsters were kind of huge? but it wasn't too bad.

I agree. I had some lessons on the sword before the Null came, but experience was my best teacher.

How effective is a sword against a bunch of machines?

Quite effective.
Swords can pierce through plate armor, that's made of metal too.
Finding the CPU was a challenge, but not an insurmountable one.

Yes, stabbing works, though you have to be quick about it!
Otherwise, one of their razors or electric prods might get you first.

Kinda sounds like these things are almost easier to fight than the creepy demon lady.

One on one, they are.
Unfortunately, where one Null goes, its brethren is hot on its heels.
Then you find yourself fighting not one Null, but ten or more.

Right, because of their AI network thing. They must be able to communicate instantaneously.

I wonder if there's a way to like hijack their signal or idk turn off their robo-wifi?

I've been told that they can.
Experience teaches me that it's very effective.
I'm afraid I wouldn't know.
My world has little in the way of machines and nothing like computers.

It may be worth taking your thoughts to the Lab and the Guard?
Perhaps they could coordinate the sort of attacks you're speaking of.
