This world is wrong. The way the so-called gods manipulate us is beyond the pale. Though--it has good people. People who will miss you terribly. You must know that.

when she hears his voice, she runs to the door, flinging it open, and immediately embraces him]

I agree, this world is wrong in its very nature. It has been created for manipulation, not for any positive purpose. The presence of good people is what makes it tolerable at all. I will never forget their kindness, especially yours.

[ When he gets to Margaery's house and the door is flung open for him, he opens his arms to catch her up in them as she embraces him. ]

Oh, Margaery! If only things were different! But dear friend, we have a little time to say goodbye. That is not enough, but it is something. [ The warmth in his eyes is in his embrace as well. ]

And we are all left to suffer its ill intents. Except you, you have found a way out. [a hiccupping laugh] I suppose I should be glad for you? And I will never, ever forget you or your kindness.

[she squeezes him tight and fights back a fresh wave of tears]

If only! And--and, yes. At least we have a little while to say our goodbyes. I do not hope to meet you again on Earth and I doubt I'd be able to visit your home first.

I have suffered enough of its ill intents to last me for eternity. But it is not me I am worried about right now, it's you and those who remain.

[ He squeezes her equally tight and kisses her forehead. ]

We really don't know, though. Who knows, we might meet again? I am not at all certain that this parting will cut off all possibility of that. If my departure works as planned, I will be able to journey the worlds at my will. And I wonder. . . well, I don't know, but you and I have a rapport that might last beyond the barriers of time and space. What if someday I can reach out a hand to you and bring you with me? Would you come?

Thank you for your concern, but how can you be sure that this new world will be any better?

[she fights back a fresh wave of tears]

...yes. Yes, I would. I have had my fill of this place and its so-called gods.

I can't be sure that any world will be any better. But now I am aware that I have some ability to pick and choose. If a world looks like it has any of the same bad characteristics as this one does, I won't stay. I'll find another, better one.

[ He leans his head against her hair and tries to surround her with his love and care. ]

Then all will be well. [ He smiles. ] I will send you a summons or I will come and get you. If I hover in the Void, I should be able to get close enough to make this work.

There must be a better world out there. Perhaps it's Earth, perhaps not. But I have faith in your ability to discover it.

[she clutches at his shoulders with her hands]

That would be lovely. To be free of this place and its so-called gods. . . it would be wonderful.

I sincerely hope there is!

[ He looks down into her eyes, and his are very tender. ]

For you, I want whatever would make you happiest. If you want freedom, then I want it for you.

...what would make me happiest? Is my freedom from this place. There are people I would miss, but I would be rid of the so-called gods if I could.

Then I will make it my mission to free you from this place. I am sure that your friends will miss you, but if you must be free, then you must.

[ His eyes, too, are emotional. How hard it is to let go of those we love, even if it is only for a time! ]

A difficult thing to do, in this place. I think it is I that have the easier part.
